Hey y'all, I just got finished bbq'ing.
I grilled burgers, brats, drumsticks (chiken legz), skirt steak and country ribs.
Then I made a huge pan of baked mac and 6 cheese macaroni along with a large pan of baked bean chili with italian sausage.
I am done for the week end.

I'm depressed. I really feel like I just wanna quit. I feel overwhelmed and frustrated and hate thinking about this stupid job all the time.

Today, she's fussing at me because a woman emailed me twice yesterday and she then emailed my boss and said I am unprofessional because I didn't respond to her. I had a payroll close yesterday and was swamped. I think a good boss would say, payroll closed yesterday, I'm sure she will get back to you before the week is out. Why am I expected to respond to every email within a matter of hours? Why doesn't she have my back?

Well now, since I do not have anything to do but wait for my Sammie...I have decided to get all up in hur! LOL! Zain, I know you know why your boss does not have your back! Come on gurl. I can spell it out if you wish. But I would rather spend my time encouraging you to close your eyes at your desk and think.....My tall, handsome, sexy Ghanaian man is coming home soon!

Of course she is jealous. If you are anything like me, I know you talk about your Bassi. I talk about my Sammie, but only what I want them to know. Even then, they all got together and felt it was necessary to send me an article about how "older women" were being scammed by African men. Heifers!!!! And even if she doesnt know about your Bassi, obviously she must be miserable, because she is trying to blow out your light. Cause I know you glowing over there gurl!

P.S. When I told my boss that Sammie was coming home next month...she decided to plan an audit and sent out an email that no one can take vacation in June. I am at work, so I wont say what I really want to say!!!!!

I hear the work troubles I told LL today I need a VACATION!! Soon I will have a reprieve, the kidos are going away for most of the summer, that is kind of a vacation.

LOL, kids, I know they are GODs little blessings but when the devil gets in them ...God help me LOL. I love my babies (babies who are 14,10 & 8) they drive me cuckoo sometimes but I love em and I would take more if God would give them.

I can identify with you Perserverance ........ mine are 12 and a half and 10 and a half. Sometimes I want to shake the devil out of the 12 yr old, because he is a pre-teen who thinks he will have that pre-teen attitude, I think not . I just had a bit of a break as the kid's went to Orlando(Universal Studios) this past holiday weekend with father's family. Perserverance enjoy your well deserved break!!!!! I wish I could get a half of the summer break-our grocery bill just went up another $100.00 as of tomorrow

I'm feeling better because I've refocused on God. I had a good, focused 3 hours of prayer last night with some friends and it helped immensely to just have that inner joy amidst the storm. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do about work though. I'm on the hot seat for some reason. Today she scheduled a meeting with me on Tuesday because we have "various issues" to discuss. Among them a project I was working on stalled for almost two months. I couldn't make progress because documents were missing. Well, turns out someone had gathered all the files and placed them in the bottom drawer of an unused file cabinet. We don't know who. We don't know when. We don't know why. I told my boss that I feel that it was malicious and purposeful. She told me I'm paranoid. It was just grace that one of the time unit clerks was searching for space, found the files and asked a payroll clerk if she knew why there were a stack of files there. The payroll clerk had been helping me try to track down the missing info and so was familiar with the names on the files and came and let me know. Now, my project is back on track, but I'm still somehow to blame for the lack of progress. It's probably my fault too that the files were "misplaced". I'm getting the sense that it's time to move on before my reputation is placed in jeopardy. I need my rep to maintain my position in HR. It could also be God pushing me to move on to my new nursing career which I've placed on the back burner for altogether too long.

Now Bassi, God Bless him, is going crazy. He feels powerless and can't even hold me when I'm in the middle of a rant. But I'm nervous he might want to go talk to my boss if he's here, so it's better for a little distance.

Well, we have our interview Monday Inusah is not nervous. Me, I am on pins and needles. I think I need to be sedated. I just hope and pray and hope and pray that everything goes smoothly. Then I can get more excited about going home in July.

A hater is someone that is jealous and envious and spends all their time trying to make you look small so they can look tall. They are very negative people. Nothing is ever good enough! When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters... That's why you have to be careful who you share your blessings and your dreams with because some folk can't handle seeing you blessed... It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be like somebody else. He would have given you what He gave them. You don't know what people have gone through to get what they have... The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they don't know my story... If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too. We've all got some haters among us:

Some people don't like it that you can:

* Have a relationship with God
* Light up a room when you walk in
* Start your own business
* Tell a man/woman to get lost (if he/she ain't about the right thing)
* Raise children without both parents being around
* And not ask for a dime from Anyone
* Haters don't want to see you happy
* Haters don't want to see you succeed
* Haters don't want you to get the victory

Most of our haters are people that are supposed to be on our side. How do you handle the haters who you at least expect to have your guard up against?

You can handle your haters by:
1. *Knowing who you are & who your true friends are * (VERY IMPORTANT!!)
2. *Having a purpose to your life *
3. *By remembering what you have is by divine prerogative and not human manipulation.
* Purpose does not mean having a job. You can have a job and still be unfulfilled. A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be.
Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you. Fulfill your dreams! You only have one life to live..........when its your
time to leave this earth, you want to be able to say,'I've lived my life and fulfilled my dreams, .........I'm ready to go HOME!

When God gives you a favor, you can tell your haters, 'Don't look at me... Look at who is in charge of me...' Pass this to all of your family & friends who you know are not hating on you .

If you don't get it back, maybe you caught somebody out! Don't worry about it, it's not your problem, it's theirs. Just pray for them, that their life can be as fulfilled as yours! Watch out for Haters.................BUT most of all don't become a HATER yourself!
