I was E-filing my renewal I-765 and had a few questions about the application:

1) Under "what is your immigration status" they have a bunch of things listed and I'm not sure which one I belong to. I came into the country as an F1 (student), filed for AOS based on marriage over a year ago, so what is my status now from the list they have?

2) Also, how would I know where my AOS is pending? the first 3 letters of my receipt number are MSC, but i mailed all my stuff to the chicago address.

3) And lastly, where did i previously file my last EAD? I mailed it to the Chicago address, but the receipt number for that said MSC?

1) Immigrations status has not changed since last year, what did you indicate on your first EAD application? F-1 visa holder?

2) It may be at Missouri benefits center, at California, or it may be at your local office pending an interview. Check this on USCIS online status site.

3) Chicago is the mail processing center for MSC the National Benefits Center.
