no, actually not. I've only ever smelled the stuff, and that was bad enough!

Some Poitín is really nice and other stuff pure petroleum they even used it for medicine for the cows. But a hangover on that stuff dear lord......

I use the name poiteen cos that's my OH's nickname for me. He got it from our tendancy to put een (or ín) on the end of words, as a term of endearment. (like ino in Spanish) And he thought it was funny that we used the ín on Poitín.

okay, Dev put maven and my name down for the karoake, which we dutifully performed. But I don't recall her singing. How did this happen?

Good morning everyone. My man and I are going to see Feist this weekend, have a cake party tomorrow (my friends and I are finishing off my wedding cake) and then on Sunday we're going to Irish Fest to see Gaelic Storm. Phew...this summer is jam packed!

I've just remembered she won't be online because she is signing her contract for her house at 9am.

Well it wasn't so much of a bbq as a pool party with a bit of wine and some rotisserie chicken It was fun though - Jeremy got real tired though cause he closed the night before then opened yesterday and had to open at work today as well

Out again tonight though - meeting with someone we met on meetup.com to try and set up a local roleplay group which should be cool

I don't think I've ever needed a holiday as much as I need this one! The house is spit spot though. We had one showing this morning, another this evening and another tomorrow evening. I hope we sell this quickly!

Where is Maven???

Things got quiet in here recently... Yes, indeed, where IS Maven?

Maybe she doesn't have internet, cos she moved in to her new house, and has been running around sorting stuff out.

I have finished work, and currently packing and throwing out, donating to charity, and selling my stuff. Who knew there was so much stuff. I thought I got a head start, but I was kidding myself really. Oh dear. well. I have 3 days to deal with it. Should be possible...

Congrats to English Muffin, AOS is properly smelly. I'm glad you're done with it.

I just booked tickets for my mum and dad and sister to come and visit in October. Got them a far better deal than I managed to get myself, they're paying $475 for a return from dublin to LAX via heathrow, on Virgin for the transatlantic leg. I'm jealous. And yes, you read that right, $ not £.
