Wow. So much to catch up on. Just doesn't pay not to log on every day.

seems to have its wires crossed in general - I mean, they're recommending this for the MOB:

OMG, I've bookmarked that site. I can TOTALLY see me in that dress when my daughter gets married.

I am having one of those periodic VJ freakouts. They go a little like this:
Someone asks a London-specific question. Like, "What questions do they ask at the interview in London?" or "How many hours early should I show up for the interview in London?" or "What's the courier fee in London?"
Operative words: IN LONDON, people!!! I don't butt in on other consulate-specific threads. I don't know squat about what happens in Vietnam, Burkina Faso, Denmark, etc etc ad nauseam. I do know
THAT drives me NUTS..... people who post responses to a country or area they know absolutely nothing about. And they'll argue with you about it, too.

Btw...as proud to be American as I am, in my experience most of the people I see who wear and US flag paraphenilia (ie jackets, t-shirts, do'rags) are kind of white trash-y. Not always, but it tends to be that way...try walking into a Wal-Mart on a weekend afternoon and see if you agree!
Oh. I thought the outfit de rigueur at Wal-Mart was pyjamas and slippers?

Maybe it's a regional thing.

Wow. Beautiful pictures Julez. That place looks familiar. You didn't happen to get married at Harrah's in Vegas did you?
( Edited to correct Harrod's to Harrah's.
