No. Its a different one! We are now looking seriously at this house:
http://hfe.buffaloniagarahomes.com/propert...property_type=1Its a bit smaller than the other one, but the price, taxes and location are better, plus it doesn't need extensive renovations.
We have contacted a few builders to get estimates on extending the kitchen, so if we can get the right price on that we'll make a bid.
That is a beautiful house! Such a pretty setting. I agree with everyone on the terribleness of the decor, though.

Brings back fond memories of when I was house-hunting. I mean, seriously, people. What the heck were you thinking? There was this one house that just made us stand there with our mouths open, gaping in wonder and amazement. (Right before we fell on the floor laughing, that is.) The master bedroom had an open-concept bathroom in it. So there was this hideous black and gold-plated room-type area, all mirrors and lights, with a huge walkup sunken bathtub (seriously... it took 3 steps to get up to it) in centre-stage. All I could think of was Elvis and porn movies. It was that bad.

Amazing!

I've been playing the Sims 2 lately and I've had so much fun designing the most outrageous houses. I have a castle, a Victorian townhouse crossed with a Japanese castle, a honey bee shaped building, a cult complex and a modern white house designed so far, but tonight I get to work on the best yet; a house with as many animal prints and bright primary colours as I can find!

Aww. That is horrible that someone broke into your stepdad's car.

My car was broken into once. Nothing was missing from it (because I don't keep anything in there). But I could tell that it had been broken into because the glove compartment was open and all the car documents had been disturbed. Oh. And there was a
£10 note left on the seat. Which wasn't mine. And this was in Canada.
I called the police to report the crime(?). "Yes, hello. This is Gilly G ..... I would like to make a complaint. Someone has broken into my vehicle and left me money." I mean, seriously. It was surreal. I actually wanted to know if anyone's car had been broken into and they had lost money so it could be returned to them. I asked my next door neighbours, because they were from the UK too, but it wasn't theirs. Anyway, I got to keep the cash and the police had a good laugh.

You probably made a policeman's day there!

You know what really has me confused? Why is it called a glove compartment? Does anyone actually keep their gloves in there? I mean, ever? Who came up with that? Was the original designer a chauffeur or something? A socialite? Joyce?

Well,
here's an answer!
