I am not really sure about the tourist visa hopefully someone can shed some light on this. But as far as your husband bringing his mother here to live he could become a US Citizen and he could petition her to come and the parents can come like we brought our husbands they don't have to wait for a visa number. Now for siblings they have to wait for a visa number and I heard it can take up to 20 years because they have so many people waiting to come. Please someone correct me if I am wrong. I don't know the rules of a PR though it will be interesting to find out though as I would love for my husband's family to visit and it is so hard to get a tourist visa in Nigeria. Let us know how it goes.
Good Luck!

Sponsor may be the wrong term, could provide financial support for the visit, yes, but much much better if the person applying can show adequate funds.

So, it doesn't sound too promising! I remember reading somewhere about health issues making it possible, but cannot find that thread through the search feature. If someone can locate it, please let me know....
