Thanks for these!! I never realised the queue was so long!! Did you have to wait long? I am thinking I might try and postpone my interview til the summer

From joining the queue to stepping foot inside the Embassy was just 15 minutes, they did seem to process everyone quite quickly, thank goodness.
Was that the queue to go through security and if so do you still queue up outside until your appointment time to join the security queue?
Yes it was the queue to go through security. I arrived at 08:45 for my 09:30 appointment. They put me in the 9am queue (there were 2 queues, 08:30 and 09:00). the time of 08:30 was passed by then but the queue was still there (empty queue). I was only 15 minutes in all from joining the queue, joining the 9am line and going through security and walking round to the main door. It only started raining hard, I noticed after I sat down inside.
