Hi

I am just so sick and tired of all this waiting crap with uscis and their lies. I am past 6mos from 7/12 on my I130, I am the citizen. Everyday my husband is almost in tears because of the wait and I am too i feel like i'm going crazy sometimes. Is there any others with me or older peeps who may heard any word on why it may go over 6 mos. I don't have any security checks per uscis officer, they said they send a req on my behalf on 1/2 but they have 30 days to respond. I wish i did fiance visa instead this was not expected at all ... Any suggestions please.

I had to wait a very very long time. But I tell you when you get the news of an interview you forget just how long you had to endure and that is what your doing enduring. I know how hard the wait is believe me I do and the heartache and lonely nights,, We all do... But you are not defeated you are an overcomer... In Jesus Name...

Hi,

Thanks my angel sooo much. I see i have a touch on my I130 and k3 yesterday 1/16/08 so hopefully the ball gets
rolling, I contacted local congress assistant last week. She says she sent inquiry waiting to hear something by fri, if not she says she will do it again so that call to her must have dont something for them to touch my case. You waited a long time for it to leave nvc this is 1 reason y i submitted k3 after waiting for 3 mos after filing I130 i saw how long lagos takes with cr1 intervies and how long it takes to process at nvc level . I just hope they both get approved around the same time ...But hey u received your interview quick . good luck have fun !!!

Sorry to hear that your case is taking so long. My K1 NOA2 approval took over 6 months with no RFEs, nothing out of the norm at all. They are just plain slow and really do not process cases in the order in which they are received. Just to let you know that a K1 may have not been any faster at all. My congressman helped me with my EAD/AP once I got to the US, because again that was outside the processing time. Still waiting for the card to come after 106+ days of waiting. I was almost in tears every day too waiting for the K1 approval, it was a real strain. I had to stop checking VJ because seeing everyone else get approved made it even more difficult. It will come don't worry!

Thanks i feel so too

You technically have to wait 30 days after the current processing date. So for example if your receipt was September 1st, you would have to wait until THEIR systems are processing for October 1st. They won't do much with bang on 6 months. Best of luck though.

I feel for you.

I'm in the same boat. I filed the I-130 Dec.07 and didn't send the I-129F because me and my hubby wanted to have a "ready to work" visa (CR-1). Anyway, since it's been taking so long, I will most likely send the darn I-129F in just to get something rolling.

This is crazy beyond belief!
