do any of you guys know how they pay the visa application fee??? looks like they pay it at a bank..

Congratulations to you for having your medical schedule & interview! I'm so happy for you & the rest of those who likewise have their schedules... As for me, I'm still waiting for my packet & I'm hoping & praying it will be soon.

By the way I have a quick question for you...When did you get your K1 packet? I could see that you did not post the schedule on your timeline? I am just wondering how you know the schedule without receiving the packet. Well, anyway I am hoping to hear from you. Goodluck to your interview! I am sure with God's help everything will be successful!

You can enter your MNL number online at the us embassy in the philippines website.... it will give you the appt time..

Thanks for the info where to check the appointment dates at the embassy website. I checked it today & still I have no schedule yet. Anyway, I'll check it everyday till I finally get my schedule. Well, I have a question for you. I checked your timeline & it's posted there the dates that your case has been received & left at NVC at the same time the date when your case was received at the Manila Embassy. How and where did you get the dates? I want to post it also in my timeline but I don't have idea where to get the dates. Please help!

I just took a guess at it based on when i called and the info I got.. I dont know the exact dates...

has your fiance gotten her packet yet? Mine hasnt gotten it yet.

Looks like there is some kind of document verification fee they have to pay at the bank. It is 650 pesos.
Do you know what the visa application fee is there? and how they pay it? The medical is going to be 145.00 dollars.They need the nso, the nbi, and a passport. My fiance doesnt have her passport yet. She is just now getting the nso, I didnt expect our interview to be so soon. I hope it doesnt take long to get a passport there. My fiance will be flying to Manila in Febuary from Cebu. Im going to fed ex my stuff to her then.

as I recall, it took about 2 weeks for my wife to get her passport.

Hello I got my packet 4 yesterday!

the visa fee is the peso equivalent of $131. good thing I called a friend who works at BPI before I pay, it's P5,371, the bank will validate your ds-157 (you may bring your own form, the bank can also provide the form), pls note
that only 1 ds-157 will be validated. - i paid this already last jan 8. - i dont know if the rate changed.

medical fee is P6,090. -- i had my medical last Jan 23, Day 1: started 6 am, finished 9:30 am, Day 2: 9am - 1030am

i suggest you take an early medical appointment and avoid going there on Mondays and Fridays, someone told me at St Luke's that many people
go there on those days.

What Visa fee are you talking about Noki? Is this fee for K1 visa only or does CR-1 applicants have to pay another fee? I really hope we don't have to pay anything else cuz we are short of money now with all does past fees hehe..

T_and_A if you are on March 3 maybe you can join our celebration night time of march 3? We will stay at Bayview hotel and planning to have parade dawn of March 3 going to US Embassy. So far Che and Neren agreed to this silly plan. Seriously, you can join us on Bayview and can go to embassy together. If we all got approve, we will have small party at night..Celebrate!

My step-daughter is a K-2 (Follow to Join) and she has her interview on March 3 as well, but she is a little young to hang all of you I suppose. Her Lola will take her to the interview there in the Embassy. Just wanted to say that they received their packet 4 already too for those that were wondering about the packet receipt. Yeah maybe we can go out for dinner night before the interview? I am communicating with 2 of the interviewee Neren and Che i will meet them as soon as they arrive in manila.
