Hi all,

Well we have finally sent the 129f to california on new years eve no less. We have our noa1 also. Relyn and I have a question regarding bringing her son to the u.s.

Relyn checked with the DSWD in Manila and they said that as long as Relyn has custody and the marriage is annuled then there wont be a problem. So our question is this.

Can anyone who has had experience bringing child into the u.s. of their fiance share their experience going through "exit" immigration in Philippines and through POE in the states? Were looking for what forms they ask for or questions they asked. We just want to make sure we dont have any problem because the birth father is no where to be found.

thanks so much,
Patrick and Relyn heart.gif

I suggest you post this in the Philippine Thread so that you can get more answers. I got annulled last year and I do not have full custody of my daughter but I am not worried about DSWD clearances 'cause its not required anymore. Just as long as one parent is with the child, there will be no problem getting the child out of the immigration. Here is the link to the guidelines for minors travelling abroad:

our situation, there was no father listed on my daughter's birth certificate. not one question was asked during the entire process about the biological father. don't worry, you should be fine. good.gif
