hello everybody!!!! I hope that somebody can answer my question.
I am permanent resident. And me and my girl(she is in Russia) are planning to be married soon. What is the quickest way of bringing her over to us?Any suggestions?
YuAndDan
Only US Citizens can file I-129F for K-Visa, You being a permanent citizen can marry her and then only file I-130 F2A IR-Visa and will have to wait some time for a visa number to be issued.

QUOTE
Family Second Preference (F2): Spouses, minor children, and unmarried sons and daughters (over age 20) of lawful permanent residents. (114,200) At least seventy-seven percent of all visas available for this category will go to the spouses and children; the remainder will be allocated to unmarried sons and daughters.

Currently processing F2A cases filed March 2003.

This can be bumped up to IR class when you naturalize and become a US Citizen.

as far as i know fiancee visa K1 is the fastest way nowadays compared to spousal K3..just bring her with a K1 petition and u need to marry her within 90 days of her arrival to make sure need to pass ur papers before 90 days so that ur fiancee will not be send back to her country and have a bad record here in Us.

Hope it helps

Yeah, but after getting married here in US can file an adjustment of Status AOS to get a greencard and to be a permanent resident! good.gif all i said K 1 is the fastest among all if he really want to marry the girl no problem coz that is the requirement for K1 so that the girl can apply for a greencard.

K1 can be 5-7 months while K3 or spousal visa can be 1 yrs or plus blink.gif

You seem to be missing the fact that the OP is NOT a USC. He cannot petition for K1 or K3.

Key,

Please indicate where a permanent resisident can apply via a K1 visa. The first requirement IAW the instructions for a K1 Visa is that you are a US citizen.
