Full Version: Question about POE
VisaJourney.com > Marriage Based Immigration (K1, K2, K3, etc) to the USA > IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa General Discussion

This might be a stupid question. I have heard that when your C1 Visa is approved at the consulat that they will provide you with the airport of entry. That the immigrant cant choose the Port of Entry, but the consulat chooses it for you. Is that correct?? Please let me know

Thank you guys..

Not true, no0pb.gif, you can enter the USA by any POE using the visa, it is not assigned.

You can fly into any POE you want. The consulate has nothing to do with that.

Any International airport in the U.S. can be your POE....Atlanta included if you are flying in and it's the first U.S. stop.
