The freakiest bug I've encountered so far is a big blue flying insect which looks like a beetle and has a wingspan of 2 inches or so. They fly right by your head and the buzzing is horrific. I hate them!! Have no idea what they are though.
It wouldn't be the infamous June bug would it? Otherwise no clue

I've encountered several freaky bugs. The locusts scare me. Big ugly noisy things. I like the fireflies though.
We need to try do a more central meet up sometime for those of us stuck in the arse-end-of-nowhere.
Current missions for me to keep mind off AOS.
1. Try train our kitty not to bite. He's a 2 yr old rescue cat and he has agression issues. His name is Oscar the grouch.
2. Find an affordable SUV or Van or car that's big enough to carry all Nick's band stuff (also need to be able to afford insurance on said transport.)
3. It's eldest sister in laws b'day today, another sister in laws b'day tomorrow and brother in laws b'day on sat. How my mother in law did it I don't know.
Millie 7th august (18th)
Mollie 8th august (16th)
Brodey 9th august (20th)
Wow - that's an impressive line-up!!! Must be the cold winters

We'll defo have to arrange a central meetup - I really want to come visit but we just worked out our budget and our outgoings exceed Jeremy's income so it's going to be interesting! A lot of the problems can be sorted - getting a new car so we don't spend $100 a week on gas (although it is finally under $4 a gallon here again!! $3.97 now) will help hugely as will paying off our credit cards that have taken a beating!! And once we get the storage cleared out then that is another $60 a month saved. Although we went there today and were going to just throw some bags into the car to sort at home... then the lady there told us that the black widows are rampant at the moment and that she would recommend getting a fogger in there first

We decided that just throwing bags in the car to put in our house was a BAD PLAN and went to Jeremy's employee picnic instead

So I won´t be able to get to PS this time unfortunately, but we´ll hopefully make it at Halloween. Then, I might only fit into an elephant costume
Two weddings in a year, Aly

Hope your second one went as well as the first one

Aww - you'll be missed Marta!! But maybe for Hallowe'en you can come as a camel with the hump in the wrong place

Also - was there any preference for the Friday or Saturday night people???

oh, and we met aly in tombestone yesterday and shared a whole lot of rum&cokes in the saloon. i can't find the cable for my camera, but maybe aly can upload the picture to share the proof!
I have it somewhere - I need to get on my puter later as I am on Jeremy's dreadful laptop right now so I can lie on the bed in front of the air con!!! I will have to sift through the 700+ random photos I took on our road trip - most of them are blurry ones through the car window so it will be a chore and a half to go through them!!!
Had an absolutely excellent time though with very good tour guides!! Just wish we hadn't got so lost on the way to Agnes' house - I cleverly wrote down completely the wrong directions and had us coming off the freeway five exits after we needed to - other than that, my directions were perfect... I think I just had a brain fart

Gratzies!! Have updated the spreadsheet

Any more news from people? And are you not filing for AP Debz? I think I remember you mentioning it but I forgot...
