Speaking of invisible, roundaboutly, I like to expand my student's mind. Ok, I just like messing with them. One came into the classroom the other day and said "Where did Ashley go?" to which I responded "There are 3 possibilities I can think of: She left, she turned invisible, or she spontaneous combusted."

Awww - wish Jeremy were getting that much!! It's enough to cover his suits and a ticket for his aunt to get a coach back home from PHX so we can do a mini PHX-LAX road trip together as a "married" couple

Not that there is much to see on the I-10 going through the desert but still...

Moxie - I hope you didn't steal all my leftover wine!! As for the certificates... well - I am only going to do them for the July filers who hang around here

Maybe when I get a bit of time I will put up the different backgrounds here so people can pick their own - they can give me a general feel for the type of thing they want then I can make them, host them and people can use them however ;D

Minister: Will you have, and also hold Just as you have at this time told?

Jeremy, today in front of our friends and family I pledge to be your loving wife. I believe that actions speak louder than words and it is our actions that have taken us to where we are now, our separate journeys that have joined to become our journey through life together. Throughout our life journey I promise to find the sunshine behind every cloud, pick you up when you are down and live for the moment. I promise that I will keep you safe, catch you if you stumble and pick you up if you happen to fall.
On this day I promise to you… Always.
Promise to bring sunshine to your life even on a cloudy day
Promise to work together to build a life of dreams and adventures
Promise to continue our journey through life together, taking lessons from the obstacles we meet
Promise to love
Promise to ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in our lives, knowing it is still there
To love someone is to see a miracle invisible to others
A friend knows the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails
Promise to make each day as beautiful to you as you are to me
It's not all to be used, very rough, prolly missing stuff and in no particular order... suggestions welcomed!!

Jeraly,
That is wonderful....and the wonderful thing about writing your own vows is they can be as long or short as you want. It is your time to express how you feel and your commitment and promises to your husband to be. I am not a writer but I would rearrange it a little. But it is just a suggestion.......won't hurt my feelings if you do not agree.

It's lovely. I'm just going to throw this out there...you know, coming from a guy/Neanderthal brain...since you asked for thoughts and all. Why is loving someone "to see a miracle invisible to others"? I mean, if I'm Jeremy's mom, I'm thinking "I know exactly what Aly sees in him, because he's my beautiful son who I love so much!" Am I over-thinking this? I think I'm over-thinking it. Will there be cheese at the reception?

Jeraly - I like your vows! Shortish and very sweet. I must admit I'm not sure what to make of the second sentence, but the rest is lovely.
The brother who wants a laser ring is 18 and studying at Sheffield University, just like I did! It's pretty sweet having a family member in the same city as me, even if it doesn't mean I see him any more often. He has a bizarre sense of humour and has
very strong opinions. He makes me laugh a lot and is probably the sibling I get on best with (I don't have favourites).
Here's my ring, btw. I love it! People say it's a lot nicer looking actually on my finger.
Also, now the party's over...should I go?
