well, my son had a view problems adjusting with the time difference.. but now he is doing well... we r going to a babyclass twice a week, which he really likes... besides that I am not doing very much... being bored most of the time.. I cant wait to be able to start looking for a job....

I am sure you have some hobbies you like to do You still have lotsa years ahead of you full of work work work and you will be looking forward to having some time off then So while you "have to" have some time off now you might as well enjoy it and have some fun

my parents just left (they've been visiting for 3 weeks), i started a job, and i'm tutoring german, and everything should be fine, but i'm so homesick that the only thing i want to do is cry.

Dare I get mushy and sentimental about the past? My old acquaintances Jeraly and mox are here! I posted in K-1 a little bit while our case was still in USCIS, but have visited naught but the SE Asia forum since. Now that the time is drawing near for my love and I to travel back to the U.S. (I hope), I find the time is right to re-unite with the European world. Mai's interview is May 9th. I leave for Vietnam the 29th of this month. Wish us luck! Damn the California Service Center!

Chris has found an apartment in a NICE part of town (He has been living with a friend for the past year and a half in a really HORRIBLE part of town that I had absolutely NO intentions of moving to... I also didn't fancy sharing a house with someone else when Chris and I haven't seen eachother for 7 months...) It's $725 a month, which is a little pricey But I think we will just be able to manage... (I hope )

The homesickness will go in time - it will be easier when you have a job and things and start to make new friends Besides - when I move I have every intention of coming up to visit!!! We'll have a blast!! You have to find cool places to go so you can show us when we come visit

All you need for AOS is the bit about vaccines. If you don't have that you can go to a local civil surgeon who can fill out the I-693A vaccine form. Griff did that and it cost $40. He also had to get the Tetanus shot in order to be able to complete the vaccine requirements. i think you had all yours so if the docs at Knightsbridge gave you the vaccine form you are all set, otherwise do what I recommended above! AOS is really not that bad, just more waiting.

Now, stop panicking! That's an order!

adriano doesnt know what to expect because he knows nothing of the US besides NYC...unfortunately, i DO sort of know what to expect, and am afraid for him lol (no offense to anyone from Indiana!!)...the whole 'not speaking english' thing is not going to go over as well there as it does here (nobody freakin notices here!!) lol it will take some adjusting for us both, but im sure it will work out in the end

It´s great that you will be able to start doing the things you like As for Adriano, I think it might as well be better for him although harder at the beginning. You know in NYC he isn´t "forced" to try to use too much English I guess cuz he can speak Italian or Albanian with his co-workers and such so maybe living in Indiana will make him learn the language faster...who knows

So I finally went to the doctor today cuz I just couldn´t get rid of the cough and it´s been getting worse and they gave me antibiotics so hopefully I will be ok again soon I need energy for other things than constant coughing
