Hello all. Checking in whilst over at Nick's rents. There is a whole lot happening for us Julyers now.

Lisalu...I guess you will be en-route now. Congrats.

Most of the stuff for the wedding sorted now so I'm having more time to sit and think about stuff I miss so having a few homesick moments. Still love it over here and Nick's mammy is being such a big support to me. She is amazing.

Nick played improv guitar at a local bar last night. He is an amazing guitarist but has really bad nerves and no belief in himself. It's the first time he has played for a decent sized audience of total strangers. He did so well and had people going up to him and complimenting him and buying him drinks (he doesn't even drink, lol). I'm so proud of him. He was originally only supposed to play 30mins but they kept him going and kept telling him to turn up for over an hour. It has done so much for his confidence.

Oh..one more thing....I have discovered hayfever season starts earlier here and I'm allergic to Nebraska! So if any Nebraskans know where I can get some Honey made in Nebraska I'd appriciate a wee message.

hello. WOW 2 days in a row!!! I'm really suffering with these allergies but got honey so should start building up resistance in a few days. I sneezed 12 times in a row this morning. I swear I though I was going to turn inside-out.

Stress wise I'm strangly mellow just now. Things falling into place for the wedding. AOS is still around 8 weeks away. Not much to panic about just now. My life feels some what empty.

Lol - I know how you feel I am so not panicking about AOS - I mean it can't be any worse than K-1 right?

Stp, Can't wait til you're here too....Lisalu welcome! Everyone...I can't wait til we're all together here! Peter will be here tonight about midnight, his flight is enroute as we speak then he has a seperate domestic flight about 5:45 pm into DFW.

I may fall off the radar for a bit when he gets here. I'll try to check in to fill everyone in POE and stuff. I'm worried about AOS too...mostly about having the cashola to send it off on time. That's a big chunk of change to gather up at once for us! After moving, a wedding, and just generally tweaking things around here to make Peter feel comfortable....I'm broke! So i'm stressing a bit that he'll go out of status before we file. Vicious cycle....no money...no AOS...no AOS...no work permit....no job....no money....grrrrrrrrr. Okay..all for now, I have to go to work!

Don't worry too much about AOS. As long as you marry within 90 days you'll be fine. Over in the AOS forum this gets discussed a lot and it appears that although it's best to file AOS as soon as you're able you to don't have to do it within the 90 days that the I-94 is valid. Getting married in that timeframe is the important bit - AOS can wait a while longer.

not today; had the laziest day imaginable

woke up early, spent a bit of time on the phone with my fiancé, then with my mum, and then with a friend in Sydney... by that time it was after one

so then I had a long bath - read until the water was getting cool - and now I've been catching up on emails and reading some more

oh, and I've done two loads of washing and eaten some toast


however, the guy from Allied Pickfords comes tomorrow to see what I'm shipping, and I have a few other things to do, so I guess the running around will start soon...
