I am thinking of starting my own business, and operating through the local farmers market here.

Does anyone know if I need an EAD to be able to have my own business? I know an EAD is required for any potential employer to hire me, but since I'm working for myself, are the rules different?

If anyone can point me in the direction of where I might find more info, it would be greatly appreciated.

When doing business as small business owner, you need to report income quarterly to the IRS, so are self employed, and need to be authorized in the to even employ yourself.
