Police clearances are generally valid for up to 1 year.. however, since you just rec'd noa1 you are probably a little early as you are maybe 9 mos or so from you interview....

hi there to you Alohaz, well i just finished doing getting the clearance from the embassy of japan. And with the big help of my friend RIDION it gives me so much relief for now. God bless her really. And i want it to share to you too so you know already what to do bcoz its really takes time to get that police clearance, sinced we dont have our INTERVIEW scheduled yet we better be ready then....
heres is my friends shared to me that you can DO as soon as possible, goodluck to you also!
Your fiancee need to have the japanese police clearance before the interview to avoid delay for the visa processing.Your fiance can request her police clearance as soon she have the MNL CASE #.She needs to go to the USEM WINDOW X,and ask for an authorization letter requesting to obtain a police clearance from japan embassy in mnla.It takes about two to three months,She needs to bring her noa1 and approval notice from USCIS,and her MNL CASE #.She needs to show it to the guard at USEM and tell the guard her purpose.Hope this help...GoodLuck..
PS. just tell to the guard you need a request letter ok? God Bless!
