Hi

Does anybody here have some actual data of divorce rates between Filipinas and US citizens.
Also any data that includes age difference / educational difference. Is it similar to American
or is the US/Filipina marriage longer / shorter.

Any of you out there been married for more than 5 years, what is your age / educational difference?
Any of you out there divorced to a filipina? What was the reason for the divorce ?

Thanks

What I can share is my USC uncle, and my aunt ( sister of my mom-shes a USC now of course), they have been married for 45 years. He is 3 years older than her and both are professionals. Got 3 kids and still loving each other so much until this time. They reside in Texas.

For us, Joe is 8 years older than me. He is an engineer and I'm a lawyer . Both age and educational differences work for us the most. He is mature and responsible because of his age and life experiences, and so am I. Since we met, we still have to have a major quarrel. Because of our educational differences we just fit and can talk about anything under the sun, never a dull moment. We love each other so much and we intend to be for the rest of our lives together.

There are also a lot of divorces between american men and filipina women but from reading I learned that almost most of them, after divorcing their filipina wives, or the other way around, would still go look for a filipina for a second chance.

Differences are part of a relationship. Its up to you as a couple to work them out. Life is not perfect but hey, as long as you love and respect each other, you are good to go.

Goodluck and I hope you two will patch up your differences soon.

I am impressed with how diligent Filipinas are. Claudeth is so patient with me. Maybe that is why I fell for her and enjoy every day I have with her. This is a totally different experience from my previous marriage. I am blessed.

Now, for you question, I have no idea. tongue.gif
