In 2006 my income/tax return was just below the required minimum (125% of poverty level for 2 people). However, my income/tax returns for 2005 and 2007 were and are well above that level. I am planning on submitting my 2007 return along with the figures for 2006 and 2005 on my 864. Since one of the three years, though not the most recent, was below the requirement - should I add a sponsor? I don't want to provide any excuse for denial. It wouldn't be a lot of etxra work to add one of my parent's as a sponsor, but I would rather not if I do not need to do so. Just curious what others might suggest in this case. Thanks for your feedback.

Since only the most recent return is required, send them that along with some recent pay stubs and a letter from your employer. You can always take the addtional returns with you to the interview in case you need them, but you can also have proof of good income in 2008.

Thank you both. As always, very helpful info from VJ.
