Hi,
Anybody waiting for packet 3and 4 from New Delhi Embassy? My case has been siting there for 3 weeks now! have not received anything...they mailed another packet 3 couple days ago in reply to my email! Is there anything I can do to speed up this process for I -129F?
Can I go to the embassy I do the needful instead of waiting for the mail? and then Get the police certificate , medical etc. done in the meantime?
Pl help , im totally feeling helpless rite now!

I understand a frequent qn. in the nterview is why u want to get married in the US? is there a gud answer to this?any suggestions...I know it sounds silly but jus plain confused.

Have you got your NWD Case # ? If yes, your fiance can print Form DS-230 from web and submit it at New Delhi Embassy at 4 pm. We are still waiting for our Packet 3 which they say they have dispatched on 15th Jan. However we didnt want to delay this process any further hence I went to the Embassy (New Delhi) and submitted our DS-230 Form (Part 1 only). They have updated it in their system and told me that we will get our Packet 4 along with Interview date within 3-4 weeks.

Here is the abstract of our mail that we received from New Delhi Embassy in response to our mail requesting information on our case status. (IVND@state.gov)

When you submit the tick form (Applicant’s Statement) and DS-230 Part-1, you will be scheduled for a visa interview as per the next available date. Please note that you may come to our counter number one on any working day at 4 p.m. to fill out and submit the above required forms.

We hope this information is useful to you. However, please contact us in case of any clarification.
