love my Nour
I need advice for someone I know. I have a girlfriend who has been married now for 3 months. She came home the other day, found out he has been on a chat site and porn site looking for woman from his country. That is very disrepectful to her. Now, she has put him out of the house, but found out he has to get divorce first before he can move back to his country? He also tore up AOS and other papers too when they got mad with each other.

Does anyone know what site I can tell her to look at or anyone have any idea of this procedure?
She does not trust him now and does not know what to do.

Please anyone reply and I will pass it along to her

Who is the USC and who is the immigrant spouse? What kind of advice is your friend seeking?

I take it she is the USC and he is the foreign spouse. If so, his needs are not her concern unless she wants them to be. She can obtain a divorce without his cooperation. There are lots of resources for that. It has nothing to do with visas or immigration. If the AOS has not yet been approved, she can contact the USCIS and withdraw her I-864. He is then on his own and of no concern to her unless she wishes otherwise.

Surely someone on here can offer you some advice, or search around on the posts sure this has happened before somewhere. Good luck. good.gif

The American wife should go to the local court house and ask how to file a divorce (family law division). Or she can seek a lawyer to file a divorce for her.

It is too bad that this foreign husband was a bad character. He must be a shame to his own family back home.

The same could be said of Brazilians or Peruvians or whoever, if you want to talk about countries where perhaps there's a lot of people who want to come to the US. To say that all or even most are using USCs on countries promoting family immigration legally? Not only is it insulting to those of us who have real relationships, it's IGNORANT.

She needs to take care of herself as obviously he was taking care of his own needs. If he was looking at woman from his own country it seems like that is he true attraction as commonly heard from woman who have been decieve through this process.

This is a hard pill to swallow, but she really needs to take care of her. She is who matters first. Contact the USCIS.

Because LUCKILY, most people don't think like you and feel that the marriage shouldn't be over because he was looking at porn and for other women while MARRIED.
Hope she gets him deported ASAP.

Most men, married or not look at porn and some women too, just because he looked at porn and was looking at women does not mean he has committed visa fraud.... she as a USC can not get him deported that is up to USCIS and the courts....

if he tore up the AOS papers, I presume you mean that he tore up the forms that had been filled in to file with USCIS? If so, she has no immigration issue, and neither does he. It is simple, he has no pending status.

Please do show me what part of my post implied he had committed visa fraud??

Oh yes she CAN get him deported if she doesn`t support his AOS.

Thank you Athena_ny. I have never spoke to this Jasper, but you should see the pm they sent me out of the blue, just unreal!! Funny thing, I have been married to this man for 3 1/2 years now. If he was using me for a GC he could have left me a long time ago and still stayed here in the US.
