I just received a response for the service inquiry I made last week.Is this just another way of giving the USCIS to sit on their fannies and not do anything with one's case for ANOTHER 60 days ?

there's a lot of info and support of people who went and are going through the same!

It reads as follows: Your case is currentlyunder review.You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter. (1/5/08).

Thank you,I feel so much better when I have someone to talk to about this who can identify with me .My family,friends,and co-workers are all like "Can't you find an American to marry ? " I am so sick and tires of hearing that jazz.

Of course...we all "could" have but then again we would not be near as happy!!! Keep your chin up. All of us here know the pain of seperation, and how those who don't know can't possibly understand (although some are supportive). Wishing you God Speed on your process......

Man, that hurts....I don't even want to imagine how you must feel now! Listen,I think it's a good idea to copy and paste the response you got (this window) in the thread I mentioned above...there's a lot of folks who know more.

Maybe Mel&Syl have an idea what to expect! As far as I know they went through a service request,too


This is the second service request I 've done.It also says this :If you have any further questions,please call the National Customer Service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Every time I call,they tell me "I don't know."
