I was just wondering if anyone's i-130 was approved before the i-129f was. Mine was. My i-129f hasn't been approve yet. If so did you do the k-3 or the ir/cr?

I have been reading of a few cases lately where I-130 and I-129F were not linked, and I-130 gets approved first, and USCIS dropping the I-129F.

They can also recall the I-130 and send the I-129f in for K-3, or if the 2 partitions are linked, they may just hold the I-130 and wait for I-129F to be approved and then just send on the I-129F.

Wait until you have NOA2 for the I-130, and see what the wording is on that document, it may indicate that I-130 is being sent to NVC and consulate, or it may indicate that it is being held for adjustment of status.
