Hey Everyone,

I had a question. When you are going to apply for the K3 with the receipt from your I-130, which address do you send it to?

I have still not gotten my receipt for my I-130, but it seems like the Chicago Lockbox is almost to my application (sent October 22). Thus i was wondering, once i get my receipt, will it have the address of the chicago lockbox location?

I know you have to mail in your K3 application to the place where your I-130 is currently residing. Has anyone who received their I-130's receipt alreaty, have the chicago address listed on it or one of the service center's addresses???

Please let me know smile.gif thank you.

Good Day Yunes,

Yes true, but the problem here is even though you may be in CSC area zone as we were - Florida here - (cant think of another word for it right now too early) but in our case we ended up in VSC - so I think maybe you will need to wait for that elusive NOA1 - I could be wrong, maybe someone else has a brainstorm, but for right now, geographical location is not playing out as stated.

Good Luck to you on your journey

p.s Our envelope containing the NOA1 was issued from Chicago - but the actual NOA1 is from Vermont.

If your case number begins with W, send your petition to CSC, if it begins with E, send to vermont. If you used a personal check and it has been cashed, the case number will be on the back of the cancelled check. If you wish, you may send an image of the front and back of the check as proof of filing instead of waiting for the NOA1.

Psh - true but what if you have not had check cashed as the OP was stating, can u send to where your application should be filed instead of where it may be now, i.e, we should have been in the talons of CSC but ended up in VSC - would they kick back or forward?

Curious

Cheers

Only if you want to take the risk it ends up in the wrong place. Usually the check is cashed sooner than the NOA1 is received. If not yet cashed, then wait.
