I made my weekly call to NVC to request an update on my status and they told me that I am out of AP today and my case was sent to the embassy in Ghana!!

I screamed and then dropped to my knees to thank God for working a miracle in my life. I'm soooooooooo happy!!



Six weeks. Someone said 4-6 weeks and they were right on! Thank God!!

Now I just have to figure out how to make the DHL trick work. Probably it wasn't really mailed today, even though that's what they told me. I tried searching but it didn't work. I'll try again next week.

Whoo Hoo!! It's a great start to the weekend! Who cares about a blizzard!!

I'm just so thrilled that this is finally moving on. I know now it's another wait, but I am just happy to have some movement and feel better about being out of AP.

Should be the next few weeks according to them... that your hubby receives his letter to come pick up the package... but by "few weeks" they mean something different in ghana than my own understanding of the term.

haha.... yep! I got a job!! finally!!! I sell cars at a very large fortune 500 company.... I am happy about it!! I just started last monday and I'm still in paid training, but I get to set up my very own desk tomorrow (monday)!!! Soooo exciting, my first desk ever of my very own!!!!

Not planning on doing anything to jeopardize this one girl .... but if I can, I may take a week off and be with my boo so we can fly together to America <3

HOWEVER..... I may also not do that because we'd rather have a week or 2 off for our WEDDING/HONEYMOON!!!!!! Better to do that than just go to ghana for interview, etc, in both mine and Lucky's opinion!!

I am still so happy for you though darling!!!!! I hope we both get our men interviews asap!!!!!! Have you tried contacting your congressman yet?? Or have you decided not to do that? I'm just curious...... would be cool if they came on the same plane!!!!!

Thank you all for sharing in my joy! I had a spectacular weekend just reveling in moving my file out of the US and on to the continent! The simple pleasures in life, right?

And Zee found me the tracking number, so now I'm on DHL checking for where the papers are. I want to know every step of the way. I'm becoming obsessed!

I know they say the letter will come from the embassy soon, but so many people never get the letter that I may finally call my congressman so that we don't wait forever. We'll see if it takes more than a month. I'll definitely be emailing and calling. This is the final stretch!!
