Our I-130 was approved yesterday. We had also filed the i-129f, but it hasn't been approved yet. USCIS said since the i-130 was approved first than we will have to go the IR/CR route. Does anyone know how long we will wait for the interview now for Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. The processing times says 400 some days. With the k-3 it was 3 to 4 months after approval. I really don't want to wait another year. So I guess its a bitter sweet approval.

I called and they said that since the i-130 was approved first that I will have to go the IR/CR route. Thats why it's bitter sweet. I'm being told that the interview will be 8 to 10 months after approval. I was hoping to be done by April/May. Now it will be the end of the year. However, I will save the $1010 AOS filing fee and my husband won't be out of work for 3 to 5 months. So I guess its better, but a longer wait.

I got my NOA 1 in the normal processing time. I applied at the end of July.
