See my timeline below? I'm still waiting to get to NVC. I call NVC and they tell me they don't have my case. At this point, they've started telling me to call USCIS - CSC to find out where my paperwork is. I call CSC and they tell me that my paperwork is sitting in their mail room. They have no idea why it hasn't been sent. They have no estimate as to when it will be sent. In the meantime, the expiration on the K3 approval says 3/27/07.
I've contacted my Congress person. I've contacted my Senator. So far, both are friggin' useless and haven't done a thing - including look at my requests. I even sent an overnight letter to CSC today begging them to send my paperwork on to NVC. I feel like I'm out of options. Now it's just daily calls to NVC, CSC, Senator, Congress person. Where else can I turn?
I've been so depressed I couldn't even come visit this site because it was just a reminder of the horrors of this process.
Thanks for letting me vent. That is all.

Don't worry about the approval expiring while still in their clutches, the approval can be extended at the consulate.
It's not as if you have abandoned your petition.
When my I-130 was bounced back to the CSC for some godforsaken reason, it took a month for it to reach the NVC (again).
The NVC will tell you it can take up to 6 weeks for them to receive it. We were told the CSC has this new delivery system where approved petitions get tossed into a bulk container and stay there until the container is filled. Then they get shipped out. It sounds like you are in an empty ( 1/2 full container ). Give it a couple more weeks then fret.
I know it sucks but that just the pace things are running at now.

Thanks Dylan'sWife. First NVC told me it was 2-4 weeks (even when I was at the 4 week level). Now they just tell me to call USCIS because they're stumped about why they don't have it. I just don't understand how I'm in a 1/2 full bin when people approved immediately before me and after me (all the way to mid-December) have already gotten to NVC.
It's like a B horror movie version of Groundhog's Day. I have visions of my paperwork sitting in some corner, forgotten, overlooked. Amazing how little power and recourse any of us have in this process.

The devil is a liar! Keep telling yourself, ' No weapon formed against me shall prosper! " . Be encouraged, you will hear something soon, and do not fall into the devil's trap when he whispers those bad things to you. As gogo said, at least you are approved.

Here is what I did for my K-1...I basically made a copy of the NOA2 and wrote a letter to NVC asking them to assign me a CASE number and am positive that it helped me.
I would suggest getting your NOA2 & to write a letter to NVC. The most you will lose is your postage!
Good luck in your further processing..hopefully it'll speed up

All I can say is have you looked at my timeline an at some others here who applied in March and aren't approved either yet...
You were approved and are moving, we wish we were as far as you are!
So no worries you can vent and welcome to the wait boat.

nksi, I called the USCIS 800 number and used option one for approved petitions. I asked that our approved petition be resent because it has not arrived at the NVC. The lady put in a request to expedite our petition. It may be coincidence, but the day I was told I would have action or a decision was the day our petition was forwarded to the Embassy.
I would suggest calling option 1 to get someone with some knowledge.

HELLO, DONīT WORRY. YOU WILL GET TO NVC SOON.
MY CASE WAS APPROVED NOVEMBER 8, 2007 AND USCIS SENT TO NVC ON DECEMBER 24.
JUST KEEP CALLING USCIS TO SEE WHAT THEY SAY BUT I AM SURE YOU WILL MAKE IT VERY SOON.
GOOD LUCK.

Everyone, thank you so much for your encouraging words. I know I am much luckier than those still waiting at an earlier stage and I really feel for you and cannot imagine the torture it is for you. This whole process is screwy! But I am glad for VJ and you wonderful folks to help each other along through this. I hope for much speedier progress for you all. And thanks for the tip, EDP, I will use it first thing Monday.
