I'm in this batch. My I-130 NOA1 from Vermont is dated 2/12/08.
I got a single 'touch' on 2/24/08. I have not had a single 'touch' since. Anybody else in my boat?
Hey this is Jennie Same BOAT!
No touches at all filed January
NOA 1 feb 13th.
I totally feel you, I'm thru Vermont and I hoped it would be faster but hey, it is what it is. Another couple from Morocco already have their visa and they filed the same month and it only took 133 days start to finish! Amazing! Keep your chin up!

I've heard the magic words -- CASE COMPLETE!
I called this morning and talked to a lady who kinda confused me .. She was sweet but I didn't get what she was trying to say totally ... I was going to actually ask VJ'ers if they had ever had a conversation like this ...
I'll paraphrase:
Me: Hi, I just wanted to know if my case was completed.
Her: Yes it looks like it's complete
M: Really? That's great - that was fast!
H: Looks like there was an expedite.
M: An expedite? There's a notice of an expedite on it?
H: Oh, actually, I don't see an expedite request on here.
M: Oh, so is it complete?
H: I'm looking at it and it's actually not quite complete. It seems the documents have all been reviewed, but they will be reviewing them one more time.
M: Oh, ok so it's not done ...
H: Looks like it's almost done - please call us back in a couple of days and we should have good news for you.
M: Thanks!
THEN OF COURSE - I called back at about 6:30pm today ...
Explained to the guy I talked to that I was confused by the above conversation and wasn't sure if it was completed or what's going on.
He said "Don't worry about it - it's all done."
My reaction, "WHAT? It's complete."
Him, "Yes, they completed it for you today, June 3rd".
Then he told me to just wait for an interview date and asked that I call back in 1-2 weeks as they will schedule further interviews during the second week of June, and possibly I should have an interview for July!
AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
THANKS TO VJ'ers for ALL THEIR SUPPORT!

Hello Everyone,
Its been days since the last time i was here.
ME and my Husband are cancelling the petition. No approval yet anywayz,.
We've been to a Hell-of-a-ride relationship. its Been 3 years since we first talk. Been married for a 1 year and 2 months. And sadly, we came up to a decision of just getting a divorce. Its not working out anymore. Its been 6 months since the last time we saw each other for real. And we slowly felt that its seems like the relationship is all about "internet" and webcam and voice.
Both of us cant stand the separation. He cant come back here in the Philippines, coz he needs to think of his business, He cant afford to lose his business. And i respect him for that. He only had me for 3 years, but he has his business for more than 30 years...
I thank YOu very much for all the guides here. I enjoyed being in this forum!. it helped us alot and made it easier for us.
GOodluck to everyone and hoping for Fast approvals for the rest of you guys....

hi marea! i thought maybe he'd recognize u at the embassy..

anyway, last time i talked to my travel agent, northwest, china, and asiana had the lowest airfare. but between now and early september, it will be expensive since it's peak season. i booked our tickets late may as soon as we found out he was eligible for an interview. u should book ur ticket asap since it will be more expensive if u book it closer to ur travel date. plus, the fuel surcharge will for sure increase again.

I'm sad that you decided not to continue your marriage. My wife and I have been married almost the same amount of time as you(May 24th, 2007) and the waiting is the most difficult experience of my life, but even through this she gives me joy each day when I hear her voice. I hope you and your husband reconsider and think of the life you can share later when you are together again. No matter how much time the visa process takes, I trust that God and our Love for each other will eventually bring our family back together again.

I'm really sad to hear that Jeramie. I've been married for 1 yr.and 1 month, and 6 days. Ive seen my husband last was on May 31 at 5-6:00 am 2007..There were few times that I've felt the same way you did (seems like the relationship is all about "internet" and webcam and voice.) Probably a lot times and more negative thoughts than that.,back when I used to be more pessimistic...now just a bit pessimistic sometimes when I get impatient of waiting)
To be away from my husband, for almost 13months, for me , Its very excruciating. I long for him each day we spend together, still hurts to wait to be away from him, it always will be...But just have to endure ,have to be strong..Til we can be together again .. I hold on to that thought and hope til He and I will be together for not very long. I will pray for you both and I hope you and your husband will talk about considering, …to stay united as husband and wife!

I just came back from Kathmandu yesterday after spending 6 wonderful weeks with my husband. As happy as our reunion was, the day when I left was one of the most painful experiences of my life - I vowed to Govi that the next time I flew back to New York that he would be coming with me. Still no progress on our case but I hope for NOA2 soon, along with the rest of the VSC January filers.

Hi everyone,
we've been stuck at the NVC for 36 days now. Initially things seemed really fast but have slowed down dramatically. The NOA 2 was approved June 6 and it reached the NVC on June 13. I've been following Jame's Shortcut and the extremely helpful step by step instructions by lotofpatientce. On the petitioner side things have been moving really fast, except I got issued an RFE on the AOS. The automated message reads:"There are documents missing on the AOS form and the NVC has mailed a checklist on July 8..". It hasn't arrived yet. On the beneficiary side, my wife e-mailed the DS-3032 and it took 17 days for an e-mail response. The automated message has not even mentioned anything about the beneficiary side of the process. We finally received the confirmation e-mail that the DS-3032 was accepted 2 days ago. The next step is the IV fee bill, but again there is no mention of issuance on the automated message. I visited the online site today to check if the IV fee bill was issued, and it just states "NOT PAID". I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and pay it or not. For the AOS fee it said "INVOICED" when I logged on to pay it. Any thoughts on this?????? I just want to get this over with. I was under the impression that the hard part was getting the NOA-1 and NOA-2 but it looks like this never ending bureaucracy extends everywhere. If anyone can help with my predicament, I would really appreciate it. Thanks and good luck to us all.
