Are there any documents that are time sensitive in the process (i.e. police reports, employer verification, tax returns, etc.); we would like to get the correct paperwork together as soon as we can to avoid delays...

Thanks,
Dawn

The police report is valid for 12 months from date of issue. It takes up to 40 days to be received from when applied for. So you can judge from that the best time to apply.

You will also probably require the USC 2007 tax return as some point in the process, so would be worthwhile filing that sooner rather than later.
