Happy New Year everyone! Whew...I seriously missed you guys. I logged on a few times to recap on interview questions, but the internet network in Nigeria is so slow, didn't have a chance to post. Well I just got back in the country last night from Nigeria. Was kinda held back from a nasty stomach virus I got on my flight from Frankfurt to Washington. Ate some bad salmon....stay away from fish on planes. Just left the ER actually...they gave me some fluids and medicine and now my stomach is OK.

So...on to the good stuff. First of all congrats MISSY1 on your approval!!!!!!!!!!

Now...congratulations to myself cause we were approved too...lol!

Just got off the phone with my SO like now now now. He said that he was there for a really long time (like I told him)...but all in all the interview was a success. I don't have all the full details, but I do know what questions were asked....here they are...

1) Who are you going to see in the US?
2) Tell me about your fiance (the interviewer had to shut my SO up, because he can ramble at times)
3) How many times has your fiance been to Nigeria?
4) When did you propose to her? How did you propose?
5) What does she do for a living? Where was she previously working before this job? (I switched jobs mid-petition)
6) DOes she have any siblings? Have you met them? Did they accompany her during her December trip?
7) Do you have any emails? (SO told me that she actually read through the emails, in depth)
8) Do you have photos? (She looked at the photos in depth as well, commented on how we look like siblings blush.gif )

I think that's it...then gave him a welcome to America letter. He doesn't pick up his visa until the 24th of January though. He told me that half of the items I prepared for him in his binder were not used, but interviewer was impressed with the organization (THANKS TO VJ!!!!)

Good luck to everyone in the process...and hoping for successful interviews!

(Thanks Zee for the well wishes!)

Welcome home and I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well. You have to post again and tell us all about the wedding! Pictures would be nice, but I'm trying not to be too pushy!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so happy for you. Thanks for sharing your questions, I've jotted them down for Hakeem. He is getting ready for his interview. He called this morning at 4:30 am (my time) asking questions. I think he's getting worried now.

I can imagine your excitement, by the Grace of God I will experience it soon.

Keep in touch neighbor kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif
