Hi all. I just wanted to ask if anyone there can give me an answer. How long does it take for CO ( USE MANILA ) to review a case after field investigation ? My fiance called the USE last 1/3/08, he was told that our case was given to CO for review. Thank you.

Hi, I saw that your interview date in your timeline is January 5..but you said you called on January 3 and your case is under review? Was your fiancé approved during interview?

Hi... Sorry I confused you. My fiance had his interview last Jan.5, 2007. The interview was okay but he was not able to bring the police cert. from Singapore that did not arrive on time of interview. He was told to pay the visa fee and leave his passport. After 3 weeks ,we found out that our case was under review. It was a long story. After 11 months waiting , field investigation was done. Anyway we are still waiting for the final review/ result of CO there at USE.

Hope it is only the police cert they need, then you will be fine.

I can't believe its been over a year and you haven't received your visa yet. What do you mean by field investigation? I'm just curious what happened to your case. I hope you'll get good news soon!!

Those that were placed on Administrative Review (AR) varies, some may take few weeks then some took months for approval. Usually for those who were asked to provide additional documents, it takes 2-4 weeks for review. But this will depend on the Consul assigned (case to case basis).
