Does anyone here tried to request for a visa pick-up or know how to?
If it is possible then i would like to request for a visa pick up too since my fiance wants me to be with him on valentines day...(my interview is on Feb.6)

You ask the consular after the interview if you can pick up visa at the Embassy. Visa pickup is granted on an individual basis.

you can also ask your fiancé to make a letter addressed to the consul. stating that you want to have a visa pick up. you should have a valid reason for it to be granted. good luck on you upcoming interview

Does you (or anyone) have some examples of what the consular officer would consider a "valid reason"? I will be accompanying Joy to her interview, and I am hoping we can fly back to the US together one week after her interview.
