Hi, we mailed our I130 on Dec. 14th. Our check was cashed on 2-4-08, Received our NOA right around 2-8-08.

We are still waiting.... mailed our i-130 on Dec 17th.... USCIS told us to wait 90days before they can do anything.... grrr...

If you mailed it to the Chicago lockbox then you should see your check cashed and your NOA 1 coming in soon. Don't trust the USCIS info on it. :)

any new news anyone? wow, this is a slooooow process.

Nope, no news. Just sitting by twiddling our thumbs and looking crazy.

I don't think anyone will get any response till first or second week of april. That might be the earliest. Hope that I am wrong!!!

I would love to get news in April about my NOA2 coming, but I don't think that is very realistic for any of us. Though I would be very happily wrong. :)

I am thinking that sometime in July would be the earliest but, as I said, I would very much welcome an earlier date. :)

Holy crap! I just got an email saying that our I-130 petition was approved and our NOA2 was mailed today!!!!! :D
I didn't expect this for some time yet! I hope that you guys see yours soon too and I really hope this isn't some weird USCIS website bug!
Just the though of that possibility makes me sick to my stomach! :(

No, I didn't get any touch at all. The last thing I got was the NOA1 and the website only ever showed that date. I haven't received the actual letter yet, just that email from CRIS and I also checked the website and it states the same thing.

To tell the truth I am excited but still worried, I will be happier when I have the actual NOA2 in my hands and know for certain this isn't some computer bug or some other mistake on USCIS's side.

No, but I did contact my senator and had a congressional inquiry. But they said there wasn't anything they could do since I was within normal processing times (which I knew). I have talked to my case worker (at the senator's office) a couple of times though and expressed (as nicely as possible) my discontent with the way the immigration system works. I don't know, maybe I got through to someone. *shrugs*

Do you get an e-mail if your case was "touched"??? I won't bother checking USCIS website if I would get an e-mail if there was a touch too. It's a little depressing to find out your case hasn't been even looked at for 5 months....

I think you don't get an email when your case is touched.At least I don't get emails for that.

I didn't get an email for the touch we got after our NOA2, we didn't get any before. Just that single email about the I-130 approval and the NOA2 being generated and mailed.

we received our noa2(I-797C) i-130 approval today!!! nothing showed on the web site (no touches or anything. it doesn't even show the noa2 that i just received) it just came in the mail.
next step NVC.

My list is tracking December 2007 I-130 filers. It is meant to show the progress only a specific group only so that we can easily see progress of I-130 petitions filed in December. I am sorry but I feel that your timeline would throw people off if they looked at it and didn't notice your filing date. I think if you search the forums that you might find a thread that is already tracking I-130 petitions from your filing date, if not you could always start one and find others who filed the same time. That would do you far more good, as the Dec 07 timeline won't tell you anything about your progress.

I just called the NVC and our petition was received on April 15th! :D

I was actually trying to get a hold of an customer service person to ask a question but when I kept getting the "All reps are busy, call back later" message I figured I would just check to see if they received it yet and they did! :)

Bye the way, the question I wanted to ask them was if my wife is allowed to visit while our petition is at the NVC. She came a few months ago while we were at USCIS and didn't have any problems but I had heard that after your at NVC its not allowed. Anyone happen to know or have tried this?
