Lawyer's secretary sent an email on January 4 asking about the status of the application and a certain "operator 5" replied that the interview sched will be Feb 01, 2008..and also stated that they sent the packet 4 on December 19 but until now I havent receive it yet!!!!


OMG!!! cant decide what to do next? should I schedule for a medical exam? or should I wait for the packet first?

but it is ended a HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR ME!

The Panel Physician will probably request that you have your interview letter, however you have the email if you don't receive your interview letter in time and that should suffice.

I don't think you get a package 3 for the CR-1- I know I didn't. They send you a checklist/prep sheet along with the invitation for the interview.

grats! hearning that makes me remember when i gave montreal a call to find out my date and how excited i was

thank you guys...my holidays were not so great though..my fiance and I were having some sort of "stress related issue" with all these people asking about "when"... So I sent an email to the assistant asking her to do some follow-up and my fiance called asking her to do the same thing. And that is when she sent an email.

Oh well, she didnt probably did her job( because if she did we could have known the scheduled date before christmas or even before that)but I am still feeling great!!!

probably!!! I am not quiet happy with their service. The assistant is not doing her job really well.. I asked her once about the progress and was replied " it will take 4-6 months usually"(similar to the automated replies of the consulate) ....I was expecting to be replied" I did the follow-up letter to the consulate"

Oh well, it is happening now..but this lawyer will never get any more dollar from me or from my friends that may needing a legal service..hehehhe

Most lawyers really dotn have any more ins then you do!! They just cost more!!! We paid ours $2500!! She was fine, but not worth $2500!! An expensive proof reader!! Oh well!! All in the past. We hadnt found VJ when we started! Actually didnt find it until about a month before my interview,
