ewok, on threads that run past 3 pages, vj will display the pages one can click as 1,2,3>7 (example of a 7 page thread). is it possible to show the last three pages of the thread rather than the first three? this may cut down on the server load as some of us won't have to open the last post and then go back 1,2 or 3 pages to find where we'd left off earlier.

"Left off" as in where you were last reading? Does it not open the thread automatically to where you left off?

Also, there's a "last post" link which one can use to jump to the end. In addition, there's a link that allows you to enter the page number you'd like to go to; so, if you want to view page 12 of a 134 page thread, you can do that.

What it does is when you click on last post it'll go to the last post you read but if the thread has another 5 pages and you don't have time to read them all and close the thread when you click last post next time it'll go to the last post of the thread not the last post you read. But it's not like VJ can read your mind and know which post you actually read..

What?! It doesn't read your mind?

I guess I usually read the whole thread so don't find this to be an issue. But even when it does happen, I just use the 'jump to page' feature.

yeah I always thought this site was flawed since it doens't have the ability to read our minds, but oh well.. tongue.gif
