most of us edit what we say as we are out and about in the real world... but for some reason we think we can say anything we want when we are online..
I think the moderators do a great job and I think comparing them to storm troopers is a bit extreme.... it is not like they are shutting down threads left and right... they just shut down the ones that get out of hand....

I honestly DO have a comment on deleting posts/threads. To me-if people ( who are adults) cannot put together a post without freaking out, melting down or using defamatory names/abusive language--post deletion "like it never happened" is merely releasing the poster from having to be accountable for THEIR OWN words...
But just my opinion.
