why are people all uptight about William33 being a mod? i don't think i've ever seen him getting into it w/ anyone about anything.

Time spent and effort given to VJ does not seem to count for anything when it comes to mods.... but it would be interesting to see what criteria is/was used in selecting mods for VJ...

I know for a fact that not getting into arguments and acting antagonistic is a major point. Someone who can remain calm in a rowdy thread. Stuff like that. After that, LaL, William and I all have different points of view and can bring different bottles of plonk to the mod party.

We are not chosen for our immigration knowledge (although I know for a fact that LaL and William are pretty damn knowledgeable biggrin.gif) but for our online behaviour and temperament. I'll also add that none of us volunteered, nor had we asked Captain Ewok to consider us. We were all asked if we would be interested in taking the "job".
