I've been trying to do something useful in this forum. There are a lot of you out there that have shown a lot of support and have provided a lot of help and guidance. That is awesome and its great to see this forum as a good support center for people in the same situation.
My fiance has her interview date this month at New Delhi and of course we are very nervous and want to be prepared to the best of our abilities.
Someone had given my fiance this advise which I wanted to share regarding going to the interview. This person mentioned that you should make sure that your face, ears etc. are not covered during the interview. Sometimes they will put the visa into questioning and pending further investigations if they feel that your face matches that of a terrorist or someone on their list of people who should not be allowed to migrate to the US. They can usually tell the difference by looking at your ears and lips so its important not to cover them.
This is not a really big tip but hope this helps.
