I'm in the process of K1 visa, and i received packet3 yesterday.
Everybody said: don't send ds-156 and ds-156k.

But they send me the packet :
1) without medical instruction: it's not really a problem

2) said me exactly on a document: please note that the form must be completed onlione. Print 2 copies and sign the form. the 3rd page of the form must have a bar code when printed. Apllicants are required to fill out the online application and include all 3 pages of the bar-coded application.
For the form ds-156.

what that does mean?

1) many consulates send out medical info in packet 4 (The invitation packet)

2) https://evisaforms.state.gov/ (DS-156) fill it out online- and print 2 copies.

But i think that i will send the ds-156 by mail with the ds-230 part 1 and the checklist,
They said us also to send ds-156 k, to sign and to send, they said that on the phone, but on the ds-156k, it is written, don't sign it, only before a consular officer.

The electronic one does not keep any data on the web site, all it does is generat that unique barcode, it contains all the data entered on page 1 and 2, all the consulate has to do is scan the barcode to enter the form into their systems, this is why they want you to use the online form. You send them the DS-156 with the special barcode.

Dont sign the 156k, it clearly states dont sign .....

You are in right, we have to do like that, but i sign the ds-156 and the ds-156k and they were accepted, they send me the packet4; compared to this one of somebody else who had in interview in barbados, it's very light; there are nothing on it, they talk about vaccinations, medical examination, they don't ask me files.
