Hi
If you have a co-sponsor, and meet all the guidelines set forth by the USCIS, there is no reason why you would not be granted a K-1. The financial requirements are not country specific, so being from Nigeria does not add nor detract from your ability to support your SO. Good luck on you journey

I know that there are some consulates that don't accept co-sponsors. But I haven't heard that they aren't accepted in Lagos. Although I haven't really looked into it because I don't need a co-sponsor. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I have two Nigerian friends here in the US. They both came here with K-3 Visa's in 2006. Both of them used co-sponsors. Hope this helps.
