This may be helpful for those who have cases at the Cali service center. I just called USCIS because my case (K3) is now outside the processing time of 6 months (by 14 days, June 19) and the rep checked and told me that the last case scanned today had a recepit date of JUNE 18!!!!

She explained that this just meant that "one of the adjudicators" is working on a case with that date. It doesnt tell whether others are in that same date range, or where at in the pile my case falls.

But I am taking it as good news! Its my birthday and I prayed for something good to happen, and this is better than nothing!
