Me and hubby are camera crazy and can find (absolutely) any reason to take pics, we seriously have thousands of pics; we have to take each pic at least twice to make sure the person taking pic has gotten a good shoot . I also enjoy looking at the pics in the VJ Gallery and on peoples indivisual pages .

My question: Why do you think more people decicde not to download pictures of them and their SOs? If everyone posted picks, I think it would enhance our VJ experiences.

You answered a question with a question? OK I did say the overall visa experience but the contribution we all willingly make to VJ.

Mainly for the simple reason that Captain Ewok made it an available option, for the same reason signatures and timelines enhance. I am a picture person and I always enjoy seeing / viewing new love. I don't know if you have viewed any of the pictures on the site, but for me, there is something beautiful and refreshing about new love. IMO more pictures would add a more personal touch to our postings. I hope that answers your question

Just so you know, pictures have been used against people in the past so some don't care to share.

We prefer not to post pictures, just for personal feelings about security.

I have all my pics on facebook.

Just too lazy to put them on here.

As much as I love my VJ family, it's just something about posting photos for people I don't know. On the other hand, I do enjoy viewing the photos of others. Perhaps I may come around one day.

ZeeNusah****Your pic is a perfect example, even though I don't know your life story only tid-bits of your imigration journey, the picture shows this love that can be seen in your smiles that are shared in those precious moments together . To me it makes the journey sweeter .

(background) After my second trip visiting my SO. I was going through some pictures of my visit with my sister, as we were going through the pics pickig out our favorites; I nothiced that most of the ones she liked were pictures of us talking, and or looking at each other, not the staged cheese poses. Her reason was, though she had never meet him, she used those pictures and the glimpse of happiness in the moment; it enabled her to begin to love the man the she could see loves me .

I understand about privacy and other reasons... But I am a picture person too!! Love them and Love looking at them!!! I am always the one with the camera..

This post reminds me of my husbands love for photography. We now have so many photos that I had to go out and purchase a decorative trunk just to keep the photos inside. I must say that he does take nice photos, and I love being his subject.

I only have one pic of me and Bassi on VJ. It's one that makes me happy and it sits on my desk in the office. Literally, when my day is going south and I'm stressed beyond belief, I can look at that picture (my daughter is inset) and it makes me smile. It's the two happy areas of my life and it relieves stress almost instantaneously.

My fav pic of you guys is the one titled engagement attire, you had it as avatar at one time. I just love the color of those outfits with the background.

I am a computer dummy and was unable to get my beach pics in the gallery. One day when I am not so busy I will try it again after I
size them the correct way. Only 3 pics showed up and the rest didn't

Thanks, I thought I had taken enough pics but I look so crazy in most of them and wouldn't dare post them
so I wish I would have taken a lot more.
Especially the ones where we laugh together are quite insane looking
I will see him again in April for the 2. interview and will take more.

I guess some people just want the privacy. No need to have coworkers or neighbors in your business. I actually posted a video of us here on VJ which is something I had not done anywhere else. It only took me two years to build up the nerve to do it.

I must agree that having pictures does enhance my experience of using VJ. It makes the whole visa application process a bit more personal and feel more like one is sharing experiences with real people. It does make a difference. Or maybe i am just a picture person. However, I understand people who are worried about security.

Two pictures I have come to recognise while using VJ, though they are actualy strangers to me in real life, are:

I'll put pics up on occasion, but won't keep them up for long....not what happened here before. Really though, sometimes when I think about it, I'm so darn proud and in love with my husband.....and we look good that I should post more pics!
It is nice putting a face to the screen name though.

BTW: I am a girl, my OH logs on too but he just reads.

I like looking at ALL the pictures also, will visit the photo gallery frequently to see if any new pictures have been posted. I was a little concerned about adding a picture to my profile on Visa Journey but, could not help otherwise as I saw so many others with pictures posted. I am kind of a private, reserved, shy person but I geuss the Visa Journey brought out the best in me

I'm a visual person, so the pics definitley add FLAVA! Matt and I both love taking pictures (me more). I'm like you Destiny.....I will retake a picture many times to make sure its PERFECT!
