In a few hours it will be year 2008! year two thousand seven has been a wonderful year...full of ups and downs, success and failures, tears and laughters and with a lot of love too I am so happy that my family is here at my work place ...they came all the way from cotabato to visit me here in iligan to spend the new year's eve celebration with me. It's just like in my childhood new year's eve celebrations.....everyone is in a festive mood....everyone helping each other cook...VALENCIANA, THE EVER LOVED BUKO SALAD, MACARONI SALAD, PANCIT GUISADO, LECHON MANOK, ICE CREAM, and many many more once a year we feel so rich..hehehehe..but greater is the feeling that my family is gathered together, and that we reached the end of another year in good health. Indeed it is a new year....me and my sweety turned 1 year ...and surely it will be a sweeter year 2008 if we will be finally reunited to each other. Got to go outside to watch the fireworks display...and listen to the ear splitting PLAPLA AND JUDAS BELT....AND SUPER LOLO....hehehehe...they said ... WALANG GANYAN SA STATES....

Hmm, I can say Judas Belt is my favorite... heheheh. We usually tie it in a jackfruit tree back in our province. I love the sound of it...:-)

I celebrated my New Year with my "lovey" online...:-) He also prepared 13 coins and put it in an empty can. We made the "noise" together... it was fun. And with my age, i still do the "talon" thing, you know, hoping I would still grow a few centimeters. :-)

I love the sound of Judas belt too... …it’s so sweet of your lovey to celebrate the new year with you online. I celebrated my new year at the park watching awesome fireworks display. My honey is at work. But last Christmas we were online together. Hopefully Next year all of us who belong to the VJ class of 2007 (hehehe) will be spending new year’s eve celebrations with our sweethearts

I'm ready for the holiday to be over.. This will be the last holiday season without my love of my life..I'm hoping January is the month for many of us for approval...Happy new year!

As in? Why man wala? Unsa man diay sila mag welcome sa new year? they should have at least made a bamboo cannon..hehehehe

Luckily for us, we were allowed to use fireworks in our area. The boys had fun throwing coins all over the house and also told them to make noise in all the rooms. . they love this practice . . . and of course they get to pcik up the coins new years day and save them in their piggy banks. 12 round fruits , red shirts and the usual food prepared to greet the new year.
