I've tortured myself over my wifes I-751.

Monday it goes in the mail.

Here is what I have to mail.

Check for biometrics and petition ($545)
Copy of Permanent Residence Card (Front and back)
Drivers license copy
SSN Card
Copy of her passport with updated (married) name
Copy of I485 approval
Marriage certificate with raised seal and notarized
Copy of deed to house with raised seal notarized
Homeowners policy with both names on it
Federal and state tax returns for the last 2 years (w/both names)
Electric Bill (w/both names)
DirecTv Bill (w/both names)
Credit Card statement (w/both names)
2 Banking statements showing deposits into joint account.
Copy of medical and dental insurance cards
5 letters notarized from family, and friends
5 pictures of us together during various times of the year.

Is there anything else???

My wife is my world. I just want to make sure everything is on above par. Thanks!

Did you include the "official" IRS transcripts with your Federal Tax returns ?
I know that's what was suggested when I was asking for VJ advise on what to include. I don't know how much it matters, but of course it's always better to be safe than sorry...

good luck & happy new year

No, I guess I should have requested them. I know you call for them, and it takes about 2 weeks to receive them. I've added paystubs to the paycheck showing the joint account information, and address aswell. Thanks for the reply. I wonder if I should go ahead and request the transcripts. We had a tax professional do our taxes so I thought it looked professional.

I requested mine about 2 months ago - the transcripts arrived around 1.5 weeks. I would just call ahead & get the transcript. You can always send it in AFTER you get the NOA-1. The NOA-1 gives you opportunity of sending the additional supporting document (it is not RFE).

The problem I have is that greencard expires in another month, and I'm praying the NOA arrives before her drivers license expires. She needs the NOA to extend her drivers license. Humm, I'll go ahead and request them though. Like you said I can mail it afterwards.

In that case I would just send what you have. I think it looks good but of course sending for the transcripts while you wait could not hurt.
BTW... VSC seems to be moving quickly on the NOAs, so you should be be fine. good.gif I guess we were lucky that when Richard got his perm. SS card PA gave him a D/L that doesn't expire until 2010.. I would not want to deal with them again, unless I had to... blink.gif

Well we moved. I need to update my profile. Hopefully the Texas service center is good to us.

I would just send what you have now. After you receive your NOA, you can always send in additional information - make sure you attach copy of NOA to the service center. I am not sure whether it is the same wording for all NOA, but my NOA has the following :

"If you have not already done so, provide supporting document to assist USCIS in processing your petition & to establish eligibility to remove the conditional basis of your permanent residence. Please include a copy of this receipt notice with any supporting documents you submit. Such evidence may include, but is not limited to .... etc"

You do not need to delay sending it in. After you got the NOA, then you can send it in.

Good luck good.gif The only thing I can recommend is to use the I-751 from the USCIS website tongue.gif

The one I've downloaded expires 09/30/08. Is this correct?

i sent off request for IRS transcript but I NEVER receive any. i sent my I-751 docs last week with tax return file from H&R with W2 and the letter from IRS we got last year telling us we owe them money. i wonder if that's the reason why they did not send us our Transcripts becasue we stil owe them a little we are planning to offset it this year when we file it this jan 08.

will my tax return from H&R good enough? i send W2 as well and that letter came from IRS on both our names
