If they have to manually sync two systems, someone did the manual sync every day for the week during which there were a couple approvals each day? It doesn't make sense to me. But hey, this is USCIS...anything can happen. There is definitely inefficiency in the house and they are trying to find wild excuses for it.
I cant remember what combination was I supposed to press in order to connect right a way to USCIScust. service! Does anybody remember? I am calling them in a couple of hours to check what the heck is going on!I will post after that,but I need those numbers,please!

Wife and daughter's passports are good for another five years, green cards for another ten, hopefully with our N-400 applications in, we will get that USA citizenship for them before that five year period ends. Then that would be history.

I just did a service request today for the first time, they gave me a ticket number and said an IO will look at my case on 06/08/08, the weird thing is isn't that saturday, Do you guys think that an IO will actually be looking at my case on Saturday

Yes they are working weekends too. If you go to the USCIS website there is a press release there where they say their people are working tons of overtime and weekends to get caught up. They say that the naturalization applications have more than doubled in the past year so their workload is huge. They are trying to hire people but that takes time and so does training.

Did you receive an RFI or you mailed additional evidence on your own, like some other people here?

I did it voluntarily as the others seem to get their green cards quicker (as least I hope). There has been no letter from USCIS after the transfer notice. I don't know what to expect any more.

When I did my request the customer service person that gave me the target date told me that is the date that the IO will look at my case not it should be ready by that date, I asked him twice and he repeated the reference number and said again that on 06/08/07 an IO will be looking at your case and you hear something by mail or email

Our senator was good to let us know that our application was shipped to California from Nebraska, USCIS didn't say anything about that! With that bit of information sent a letter and additional evidence to California with a brief description of how difficult it is to deal with an expired green card with non-USCIS personnel. Seemed to work. Got our new green cards just shy of 13 months.
A friend of my wife also assigned to Nebraska learned her application was lost after waiting 14 months, but got decent service after making two trips to her nearest field office some 400 miles away with copies of her application and evidence. We were concerned that our application was also lost, but our was purifying the air by gathering dust.

Well, I (petitioner) just tried to do a service request for my husband (applicant) and they wouldn't help me. They said he had to call and request it. Fine, but 'my english is perfect' hubby can't even make his own doctor appts., imagine him trying to get through USCIS recording!!
Actually, face to face he manages wonderfully, he still has a hard time with phone communication..... He works 6am - 3pm and I work 8am - 5pm, so it's quite difficult for us to do this together so now USCIS is 'forcing' me (too harsh?) to run home to meet him and try to get this done. I am just so fed up and frustrated with all this....

you know this is ridiculous , It is either they approve us and send us our Green cards or they need to give us our money back, I don't want to apply for citizenship I just want my green card, we were all happy that we were transferred to CSC hoping for the best, but I don't think so , it looks like they just approved some files and then they just stopped and forgot about us, I did a service request yesterday, and I don't think it will do any thing I don't beleive any word they say

I ran into that, just replied, my signature is last on the I-751 and I am the US citizen that brought my wife here, and this is my family that I am trying to keep together. That changed the tune.

My timeline:
Service Center: NSC
NOA: 02/14/07
Transfer to CSC: 03/27/08
Approval Date: 05/02/08
I am one of few people here who are lagging behind from the normal time frame for tranferred cases. It was really frustrated. I even called custom service center last week and the lady I talked with made me feel that my case is going through more background check. So if you have the same situation like me, be patient and don't stress yourself out.

I can also confirm that I have received the same message (via email) - my card was ordered today. My NOA was April 11 2007, and my case was transferred to CSC back in March.

I decided to check my email today,cause I didnt do it yesterday... and I couldnt believe my eyes-CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!It has a date of May 3rd. I am so relieved and overjoyed that I feel like flying!!!:))) My NOA was March 27/07 and on April 2nd/08 was transefered to CSC like many others. I did a service request few days ago, but I dont think that the approval was a result of that or may be it was,who knows?! I havent contacted any senators,congressman or sent any evidence on my own,so it was just a matter of waiting it out!!!
Thanks to everybody who has kept me going in my over 13 months of wait and I wish everyone a spedy approval!!!:)))
Now hopefully the card will arrive ok!

Congratulations to everybody, I'm so happy for you all!!! But geez..... we are still waiting and so far ahead of many of you. But I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot, we're mailing in his N-400 tomorrow. He'll probably become a citizen before he becomes a 10 year permanent resident.

Yesterday I called the USCIS after receiving the RFE on monday. Shockingly, I actually got an immigration officer on the phone instead of another useless customer service rep. Even more shocking she was kind and helpful. She told me that our evidence that was sent with or initial filing was lost in the transfer from NSC to CSC. And it wasn't until they were going through the steps to actually put the card through for production that they discovered they don't have anything. When I asked her what sort of delay we should expect she said currently things have been getting processed 2 weeks to 30 days after they receiving the new evidence. I pressed for more information since we are trying to decide whether to make the 4 hour drive to our local field office to get a stamp in the hub's passport. She then told me that we shouldn't have to do that because they will automatically send out another letter for another year of extension if the case hasn't been processed yet. I actually laughed out loud when she said this (couldn't help myself). I told her that I have not heard of ANYONE being sent a second letter of extension, and that EVERYONE I have heard about has had to get their passport stamped. She paused and said "Well, that doesn't make us look very good, does it."
Thanks for sharing that information. I actually received a RFE letter today in the mail box with a different LIN receipt number. I would be shocked if I hadn't read your and others' posting about RFE here. So it is time for me to put together a package again. Sigh...

IMPORTANT! Before you edit this list, please make sure that your VJ Text Editor setting is set to Rich Text Editor. DO NOT JUST COPY AND PASTE. You can change your Text Editor as follows:
1. Click on My Controls at the top of the page.
2. Click on Board settings at the lower left of the page.
3. In the drop down box under Posting Settings, change the type of editor from Standard to Rich Text.
4. Save this change by clicking on the "Change my Account Options" button.
Then go to the most recently posted version of this list (go to the last post and scroll UP) and "Reply" to it, deleting the "quote" tags.
Please DO NOT change the font, font size, add colors, stuff like that.
Please PREVIEW before posting to make sure it is properly formatted.

For some reason "seaflower" user decided to erase me from the list... I've been active for a while I just haven't posted anything b/c I'm still waiting:

This was my information, can someone please add to the list?
I got the Notice of Transfer letter as most people on 03/27/08, I just have not received the approval up to this date, nothing online and nothing in the mail..... Sad!!!
