hey there!
i'm an October filer, and unfortunately more than a little obssessed with checking processing times.
anyhow, i've just seen that the previous filing dates (april 2007 or thereabouts) has now been changed to 6 months.
what i want to know is, if that's a good thing?
deep down i'm hoping it is.
also, how annoying is the fact that everytime you check your timeline, it goes up a day.......grrr
anyway. best wishes to all you guys for the New Year and may all our wishes come true.
Im the same way. I check so many times a day and inside i know nothing will change yet but when im logn in I am always telling myself maybe we got lucky then

nope no changes. Anyway goodluck everyone

To answer the question, the fact that they changed it to "6 months" is a good thing.

It means they are at or below their target of 6 months, whereas before they were not meeting the goal. So as frustrating as the wait is, we can at least take a little heart in the fact that things *are* getting better.
Well maybe the 1500 new employees they said they hired is actually helping the process. Hope the July increase was for a good reason.
