Hello everyone… smile.gif
I’m very happy to share our good news. After long months of waiting and after all the frustrations we experienced during the process, we received the good news at last. It is such a wonderful news to start our New Year. smile.gif Thank you Lord!!!

I’m scheduled for the Medical Exam on February 1, 2008 and the Interview Appointment on February 8, 2008. biggrin.gif I have the entire month of January to compile the necessary documents and be ready for my interview.

And yah, we are happy about it… I am very happy about it but at the same time nervous and scared too. sad.gif It’s so… gosh, this is really it. Aside from the preparation for the medical and the interview, I also need to prepare for the “BIG TRIP” in joining my fiancé by February. Moving my things back to my parents place, shipping some of it to my fiancé, start composing my resignation letter at work (one of the biggest step sad.gif ), saying goodbye to family and friends (one of the hardest part), and changing address for bills and payables (gosh, by the time I’ll resign from work, can no longer afford to pay the bills the following months, heheheh). tongue.gif

Seriously, this is one of the things that I have been waiting for. Next to this are my K1 visa and then the big day, our Wedding Day. And now that it’s starting to unfold, I’m feeling so scared and so nervous. I’m quite confident that things will work out right. It’s just the mix feelings of being happy, excited, scared, and nervous is not easy to “entertain” at the same time. And so I guess, speaking it out will help. smile.gif

At 32, my life will have that 360 degree change! Isn’t that exciting!!! biggrin.gif

Congratulations girl! I am also feeling the same way like you, nervous and excited and at the same time sad because we have to leave the love ones behind. For sure, you will be able to have some friends out there in the US and the good thing is you will be with your soon-to-be-husband!!! GOOD LUCK....

Gratzies!! It is refreshing to know I am not the only one scared and nervous (as well as excited obviously!) about moving to a new country!! I have always been a homebody so really I think I am the last person anyone thought would do it! You will be fine though - what an exciting way to start the new year!! Many many congrats and the best of luck in your future together smile.gif

I felt the same way too before..scared, happy, nervous, excited in short mixed emotions...On the day i left, my family and relatives cried and I was crying on the plane all the way to Manila...I have 6hrs waiting for my international flight so I decided to stay at my Uncle's house in Manila. When I was in bed and try to sleep but I can't sleep and I started crying and it came to the point that I want to go back to Cebu and I texted my fiance telling him that I can't sleep, I'm crying and want to go back to Cebu. My fiance said honey I'm sorry...I didn't even recognize that he was unhappy reading my message saying I want to go back home..but then I still continue to my trip...When the trip started I never cry again until I saw my honey waiting me at the aiport, I didn't cry at all..the feelings changed all the pain and sadness gone when I saw my honey....Its my first time celebrating Christmas away from family and first time with my honey and it was fine smile.gif

Congratulations and God Bless with your journey!!!
