I'm going to the Philippines from the U.S. to be with my Fiancee when she goes for her interview on Jan. 4. Can anyone tell me if I will be allowed into the U.S. Embassy in Manila with her? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me concerning this matter.

Not sure about this Embassy, but some do not allow the USC to even enter the visa side of the Embassy. Some are concerned about the petitioner coaching the beneficiary during the interview process.

Yes you will be allowed into th interview. I have been there 2 times already this year and going back Jan 2008 for the 3rd time in 10 months. When i was there last all I had to do was show my US passport and walked right into the Embassy. I have also asked a few Filipino friends I have there and all of them said it is allowed to go inside for the interview. Goodluck. How long you staying?
