No idea - and they did not give me any reason why. But now I'm only thinking about the case getting to the NVC.

SSAH, congrats! We sent in our petition in April, NOA1 dated 23 May. So it's been more than 8 months, we still heard nothing. Nor our online case status shows any 'touch'. Sigh......we called in, the customer rep said 'Ya..... your case is outside of the processing timeframe; we will go ahead file a service request for you guys, you will be informed whereabouts of your petition 45 days'. This is really driving us crazy. How was your progress before you get your NOA2? did you get 'touches'? Our concern is that they might have lost our case but refuse to admit it.

Congratulations SSAH, i can imagine how you feel but finally the first step is done enjoy your approval
To bun bun, we also filed in April and got our first notice april 20th. They did a service request for us on Dexc 4th and on Dec 19th we got approved. It doesn't mean that you guys have to wait the whole 45 days bevor you hear something. You guys are in my prayers, i know that wait can drive someone crazy but dont loose hope it will come

Syl, I am really grateful for your message. We heard absolutely nothing after NOA1, no RFE, no touch, no mail....etc. I do hope this service request will lead us somewhere. Congrats on your NOA2, good luck on your interview.
